Family Advocate (Center)

The family advocate coordinates health requirements, goal setting, and family partnership agreements for families in the early childhood education program, involving written parent communications and extensive data entry into specified databases. Responsibilities also include maintaining detailed health records, following up on progress, checking and replenishing classroom first aid supplies, and assisting with parent involvement activities and events.

This position prefers a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field and requires an illinois gateways family service credential level 5, with bilingual english/Spanish preferred. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and must pass required background checks, fingerprinting, and provide three letters of recommendation upon offer.
