Assist with the implementation of activities in accordance with the camp schedule. Maintain positive relationships with campers, parents, and staff. Organize and maintain camp equipment, supplies, and property. Actively participate in all aspects of the day camp schedule as assigned. Maintain camp records including, but not limited to accident & incident reports, sign in/out sheets, attendance documents. Maintain expectations of the YMCA guidelines for requirements/ratio and help others do the same. Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and standard operating procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. QualificationsWhat You'll Need Must be at least 16–17 years old Prior experience working with children, preferred DHS licensed sites require staff who are 15-17 years old to be enrolled in and/or have completed Early Childhood Education classes. Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic Attend all required pre-camp and camp season training and meetings as scheduled Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
