VRS Assistive Technology Specialist

The assistive technology specialist serves as the lead instructor for technology classes for seniors with vision loss and conducts assessments to support client goals in home, work, and facility environments. They also collaborate with workforce development teams to enhance employability and advocate for accessibility in public venues.

Candidates must hold a degree and certification as a certified assistive technology instructional specialist, though progress toward certification may be considered. A minimum of 350 hours of experience instructing people with vision loss on computer and mobile devices is required.
