Combination VRT/AT Specialist

The specialist serves as the lead instructor for independent living skills and assistive technology classes for seniors with vision loss. They also conduct assessments, provide training in various environments, and collaborate with teams to support employment initiatives and accessibility advocacy.

Candidates must hold a degree and dual certification as a vision rehabilitation therapist and certified assistive technology instructional specialist. The role requires significant experience instructing individuals with vision loss on adaptive strategies and mobile/Computer devices.
