Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 2 pm, great work life balance A Day in the Life of a Daily Substitute: As a part time Daily Substitute at Roosevelt Children's Center you will be assisting the classroom teacher in all aspects of the classroom day. Actively engages with students on a consistent basis. Demonstrates consistent use of reflective listening and conflict resolution techniques. Promotes problem solving and positive social interactions within the classroom. Responsible for assuring the personal safety of children in all settings throughout the day including gym and outside. Recognizes and follows the chain of command by communicating concerns to the immediate supervisor. Maintains and supports positive working relationships with the program staff. Demonstrates flexibility in hours and classroom placement. Must be able to work in all classrooms when asked. Participates in staff development and in-service training. Maintains confidentiality and respect for all students, their family members, and RCC co-workers. Maintains appropriate professional and personal boundaries including on social media.
