Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor

The vocational rehabilitation counselor assesses and develops vocational plans for individuals recovering from substance use disorders. They facilitate counseling sessions, lead job readiness groups, and coordinate with clinical teams to support client employment and educational goals.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in education, vocational counseling, human services, or a related field. Experience in vocational counseling within behavioral health care and a valid nys driver’s license are required.
