Position Introduction
Teach swim lessons for children and adults. Enforce all policies and regulations and participate in regular in-service training. Preferred candidates have the availability to begin work in May 2026.

None.
Skills
- Must be able to swim 50 yards each of the following strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, side stroke, elementary backstroke, and butterfly.
- Must be comfortable teaching and responding to questions regarding the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.
- Must be able to respond in an emergency at any time.
Required Certifications and Licenses
• Current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification.
Department Preferences
- Must be able to lift no less than 30 pounds.
- Must be able to demonstrate and teach each of the following swim strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, side stroke, elementary backstroke, and butterfly.
