Your schedule as our early childhood educator - Toddler teacher

You'll enjoy a reliable weekday schedule with consistent hours, choosing between 8:00 am–5:00 pm or 7:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

YOUR DAY

As our Early Childhood Educator - Toddler Teacher, you guide toddlers through safe, engaging experiences that spark curiosity and confidence, while maintaining a clean, well-supervised classroom where children feel emotionally secure. You plan and lead age-appropriate activities that encourage language growth, motor skill development, and early problem-solving. You model positive behaviors, help children navigate emotions, and support cooperation and independence. Throughout the day, you assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering, rest, and transitions while encouraging self-help skills, and you remain connected with families and teammates by sharing updates, documenting progress, and working together to support each child's development.

Requirements

  • Completion of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including core courses in child development, from an accredited college
  • 6+ months of experience working with young children
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
  • 1+ years of experience working with toddlers (ages 18–36 months)
  • Infant/Toddler specialization or additional ECE units focused on this age group
  • Strong classroom management and curriculum planning experience
  • Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish)
