What you'll do as our toddler educator – early childhood teacher
You create a welcoming, well-supervised classroom where toddlers feel safe, secure, and encouraged to explore. You design engaging learning experiences that support early language, movement, social interaction, and cognitive growth. You guide children through emotional development by modeling positive behavior and reinforcing cooperation and independence. You manage daily care routines such as meals, diapering, rest, and transitions while promoting self-help skills, and you communicate closely with families and coworkers to document progress, share updates, and ensure every child receives consistent support.
What We Need From You
- Completion of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units, including core courses in child development, from an accredited college
- 6+ months of experience working with young children
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
- 1+ years of experience working with toddlers (ages 18–36 months)
- Infant/Toddler specialization or additional ECE units focused on this age group
- Strong classroom management and curriculum planning experience
- Bilingual (e.g., English/Spanish)
