Job description
Rising Star Preschool in San Diego, CA is looking for a full-time HR Associate to join our team. In this human resources job, you will help make sure our preschool runs smoothly by supporting our staff and helping with important HR work. The pay for this HR Associate role is $22 per hour.
Schedule
- You will work at our preschool,
- Monday to
- Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a full-time, onsite job with a regular schedule.

- As an HR Associate, you will help find and hire great teachers and staff for our preschool.
- You will set up interviews, help with background checks, and make sure new staff learn what they need to know.
- You will keep track of important records and help staff with any questions or problems.
- You will make sure we follow all the rules for childcare and work.
- You will also help with things like payroll, keeping track of attendance, and answering questions about benefits.
- Your work will help our preschool stay organized and give the best care to children.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Preferred
- Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings
- Professional HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR
- Knowledge of childcare licensing regulations and staff-to-child ratio requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software
