Core responsibilities
The direct support professional is responsible for providing direct supervision and therapeutic interventions to youth in a safe and compassionate environment. They will also assist with activities of daily living and maintain accurate documentation such as progress notes and incident reports.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or ged. A bachelor's degree and previous experience working with youth with behavioral or psychological disorders are preferred.
