Special Education Teacher (South Boston Day School)

The special education teacher provides direct academic instruction and implements behavioral programs to support students with diverse learning needs. They are responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, updating ieps, and collaborating with parents and the treatment team to ensure student progress.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field and possess a valid virginia or out-Of-State special education teaching license. Preferred qualifications include at least three years of classroom experience and a valid driver's license.
