General Statement of Duties Holy Family Institute is seeking a Life Skills Residential Program Specialist to support our mission of helping young adults secure meaningful employment. This role assists with daily program operations and provides guidance and coaching to male participants ages 18-21 in a residential setting, with a focus on developing independent living and workforce readiness skills. Duties and Responsibilities
- 1. Recruitment & Pre-Interview Support
- Managing applications and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Screening and checking basic eligibility requirements
- Scheduling interviews and sending reminders
- Preparing candidate files for interview panels
- Handling pre-interview questionnaires or assessments
- Assisting in initial screening interviews
- Ensuring compliance with hiring or grant requirements
- Communicating next steps to candidates
- Supporting background check and verification processes
- 2.Enrollment & Onboarding
- Preparing enrollment paperwork
- Collecting identification, certifications, and eligibility documentation
- Coordinating housing assignments
- Setting up participant files in program management systems
- Scheduling orientation sessions
- Providing participant handbooks and program expectations
- Coordinating with housing, food services, and training staff
- 3. Residential oversight.
- Jobsite and school transportation
- Daily supervision of residential living skills: Guide residents in daily activities, such as hygiene, meal prep
- Safety & Maintenance: Perform routine room visits to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, including managing emergency responses.
- 4. Participant Case Management
- Maintaining participant records
- Monitoring attendance and participation
- Documenting accommodations, incidents, disciplinary actions,
- Scheduling mentoring or group sessions
- Analyze program data to measure success, participant satisfaction, and outcomes, providing reports to management.
Qualifications
- & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in workforce development, career coaching, or social services, preferably with low-income or underserved populations.
- Strong communication (written/verbal), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or CRM systems, and excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Passion for helping others, ability to work independently, and cultural competency.
- Must obtain Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances.
- Must be 21 years of age and have a valid PA driver’s license
