The teacher is responsible for designing and delivering standards-aligned, data-driven instruction to K-5 students while managing a productive classroom environment. They must also build positive relationships with students and maintain regular communication with parents and administrators regarding student progress.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Michigan teaching certificate or be eligible for the GEE Career Advancement Program. A satisfactory criminal background check is also required for all applicants.

The Elementary Teacher delivers engaging, data-driven instruction in a K–5 classroom setting, manages classroom culture, and supports the whole-child development of each student.
Must be able to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Work environment includes elevated noise levels.
