The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering rigorous, subject-specific instruction in Math, Science, ELA, and Social Studies for 6th grade. They must use data to drive instructional decisions and maintain a disciplined, academically focused classroom environment.
A bachelor's degree and a valid Michigan teaching certificate with a 6-8 subject-area endorsement are required. Candidates may also qualify through the GEE Career Advancement Program and must pass a criminal background check.
