Preschool Teacher - Head Start - Salem

The preschool teacher promotes the social-Emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development of children through curriculum implementation and active classroom supervision. They also partner with families, maintain accurate records, and participate in staff development and parent involvement activities.

Candidates must hold at least a high school diploma or ged along with a pre-School certificate or cda, with higher education levels required for specific teacher tiers. Applicants must also pass background checks, physical examinations, and drug screenings, and possess or be able to obtain cpr/First aid and food handlers certifications.
