Interpreter/Transliterator (State Certified I)

The role involves developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps) for students with disabilities while providing specially designed instruction. The incumbent will also monitor student progress, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with school staff and parents to support student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
