Interpreter/Transliterator (State Certified I)

The position involves coordinating and providing direct instructional programs for special education students, including the development and implementation of individual education programs (Ieps). The role also requires monitoring student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and collaborating with school staff and parents to support student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
