Our teachers help students develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence in mathematics through personalized instruction. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong math background , who enjoy working with teenagers, and are enthusiastic about helping students succeed academically and in their college preparation journey.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Provide personalized support to help students master concepts in pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and beyond.
• Teach critical thinking and problem-solving strategies to enhance students' mathematical reasoning.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Use various teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special needs or English language learners.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and tests, providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, education, or a related field from a reputable US university(required).
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.
• Attention to detail and ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with teenagers.
• Interest in college counseling and STEM-related careers is a plus.
