Are you looking for an opportunity to launch your medical career? Through our Medical Assistant Apprentice program, you will be hired to work in Essentia Health's family practice at our 52nd Avenue Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota or our West Fargo Clinic in West Fargo, North Dakota. We will pay for your education and certification as a Medical Assistant, putting your through a qualifying program with a partnering organization. Our Certified Medical Assistant On-the-Job Training Program offers motivated candidates the opportunity to build the skills, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to succeed in a dynamic clinical setting. This cohort-based training program, beginning on June 29th, 2026, brings participants together as a group to create a strong learning community. Licensure/Certification Qualifications: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire. Will enroll in the In-Clinic Assistant Training Apprenticeship Program (ICATAP) advancing through learning modules acquiring the skills to perform the Clinical Assistant position. Upon completion of the ICATAP apprentice program, CCMA Board Certification is required within 12 months of completing the apprentice education program and meeting the on-the-job hours requirement.
