The therapist will provide school-based mental health services, including diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, and counseling for preschool children and their families. They will also conduct crisis intervention and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure comprehensive care.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field and possess an active licensure such as LPC, LSW, MFT, PCC, or LISW. A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with preschool children and families is required.
Best Point Education and Behavioral Health is seeking an Early Childhood Mental Health Therapist to provide school‑based mental health services to preschool‑aged children and their families.
This position will also include providing wrap around care and have a special emphasis on caregiver engagement. This position will also include working with families of preschool students connected to services either in the school, home or community setting. This role provides diagnostic assessments, individualized treatment planning, and counseling services to children, families, and caregivers in a variety of settings.
