The safety and security officer is responsible for maintaining a safe learning environment by monitoring school premises, managing student behavior, and intervening in conflicts. They also assist with emergency drills, supervise student transitions, and report suspicious activities to ensure the safety of all individuals.

The ideal candidate should have an associate's or bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in a school setting. Proficiency in english and spanish is preferred, along with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with adolescents.
