Elementary School Teaching Special Education Teacher CCR

The teacher will coordinate and provide direct instructional programs for special education students, including the development and implementation of individual education programs (Ieps). They are responsible for monitoring student progress, maintaining a safe learning environment, and collaborating with the school team to meet student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. Proficiency in instructional practices, student assessment, and federal/State special education regulations is required.
