Paraprofessional (8a-3p shift) - The Bancroft School

The paraprofessional assists the teacher in planning and implementing classroom instruction tailored to meet the educational needs of assigned students, providing encouragement and support for the best possible educational experience. Responsibilities include aiding in curriculum planning, assessment, developing individual-Specific lesson plans, maintaining a conducive learning environment, and tracking student behavior data.

Candidates must satisfy one of three educational/Experience criteria

A high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of direct support experience (Preferably in education), 30 college credits with at least six months of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is strongly preferred.
