The Float School Nurse travels between district schools to provide direct health services, including first aid, screenings, and student care. They also collaborate with staff to manage health records and support the development of IEP and Section 504 health plans.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a current Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider license with a School Nurse endorsement. A valid Colorado driver's license and the ability to travel between multiple school sites are required.
