Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement individualized behavior support plans.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform treatment decisions.
- Conduct preference and functional behavior assessments.
- Provide direct support and instruction to individuals with IDD, focusing on independence and goal achievement.
- Assist with staff training on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Maintain open communication with individuals, families, and other professionals.
- Drive safely and responsibly, adhering to all applicable laws.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid NYS driver's license for at least 2 years
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Passion for helping others and a desire to learn about behavior analysis
