Licensure
Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
Certification

- Evaluate
- Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.
- Communicate
- Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
- Develop
- Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
- Provide
- Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.
- Monitor
- Progress: Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
- Support
- Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs. Your expertise will empower students to overcome challenges, improve communication skills, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
