The College is seeking part-time lecturers who are passionate about inspiring, teaching and supporting the academic success of students enrolled in the Second Chance Pell Program. Under the supervision of the Dean or designee, the Adjunct shall teach their assigned course(s) in accordance with approved course descriptions and class schedules, perform other related responsibilities, be available at reasonable times to confer with students outside of class, and maintain accurate student records. Each semester shall be for a maximum of sixteen (16) weeks and shall include eighty (80) scheduled days of instruction and evaluation. Incumbents can teach a total of up to 8 credits per semester within the CSCC system.
Master's degree or equivalent in the subject matter.
Additional qualifications may be requested, as relevant to the academic department.
Incumbent must go through a complete Department of Corrections Background check and attend a 3-hour Volunteer, Intern and Professional Partner (VIP) training on safety and security.
