Typically aimed at sophomores or juniors who have completed a combination of introductory and advanced coursework. ᅟ Job Summary Assist with university safety compliance in supporting OSHA issue, emergency preparedness, and risk mitigation initiatives. Primary Responsibilities Complete specific safety orientation. Assist with all aspects of OSHA safety compliance and emergency preparedness. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly OSHA/fire life safety inspections and fire drills. May assist with Safety training and monthly booths. Render first aid care as needed Report potential risk management or occupational safety issues Performs other duties as assigned Education Lower Division Courses Completed Physical Demands Inspections require the individual to walk short distances at a time and standing during special events may be required.
