- Required: Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification Required REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Communication and engagement with camp staff and camper populations. Swimming Proficiency Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification Supervise swimming activities, assess safety, and enforce water safety rules. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure safety of swimmers / campers in and around pool environment Monitor activity and enforce pool rules. Respond to Emergencies Perform rescue procedures and provide first aid. Complete facility maintenance including routine pool chemical monitoring and inspection for potential safety risks. Maintain cleanliness of the pool area.
