• Degree: A Master's or PhD in Human Development, Family Studies, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field is required. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience

• Teaching experience at the university level in Human Development, Family Studies, or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.
• Duties/Expectations: Successful applicants will teach a 1-credit, semester class which is the introduction to the School of Family Life and is required for all students entering the major.
• By the end of the semester students in this class should be able to: Create a realistic major or minor plan in the School of Family Life. Identify possible post-graduation pathways with a major in the School of Family Life. Participate in and develop a sense of community that includes both faculty and students. Be able to utilize important resources to become an effective learner during college and after.
