Employment Support Professional (Part-Time) Starting pay at $19/hr. + Mileage Reimbursement Personal Vehicle Required) + Weekend Differential Pay If helping others achieve independence inspires you, this opportunity is for you. Join Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) — a nonprofit serving Kansas City for over 50 years — as an Employment Support Professional — helping individuals with developmental disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain meaningful, community-based employment to gain confidence and thrive. This will be for our new offices in the Chillicothe MO area.

  • Coach clients in job readiness, professional skills, and workplace success.
  • Assist with job placement, training, and long-term employment support.
  • Build partnerships with employers and community agencies.
  • Develop individualized employment plans and track outcomes in Therap
  • Travel daily using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
  • What you bring
  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Valid driver’s license (Class E MO or Class C KS), auto insurance, clean driving record, and personal vehicle (required).
  • Compassionate communication, strong organization, and a person-centered mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and complete CPR/First Aid (training provided).
  • Prior caregiving, education, or human services experience and employment is preferred.
