The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall supervision of a group of children and the implementation of the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum. They assess developmental needs, maintain a safe classroom environment, and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
Candidates must meet Colorado Shines PDIS Level 2+ or hold an equivalent degree/certification in Early Childhood Education. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a licensed early education setting and the ability to lift 35 lbs are required.

Must meet credential requirements from Colorado Shines Assistant Teacher: PDIS Level 1 Lead Teacher: PDIS Level 2+ OR EQUIT, Pyramid Plus, ECE 101/303, AS/BS Degree in ECE, or equivalent 1-3 years experience teaching in a licensed early education program, PreK, preschool, childcare, or day care Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations. Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence. Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Castle Rock, and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children in childcare or daycare.
