Position
Behavior Technician - Derry, NH Patterns Behavioral Services, Inc. is seeking qualified and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our esteemed team in Derry, New Hampshire. The successful candidate will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities, providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role offers an opportunity to deliver evidence-based interventions in various settings including home, school, and community environments. The Behavior Technician will contribute to improving clients' functional abilities, communication, and independence while promoting positive behavioral outcomes.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans as designed by the supervising BCBA. Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions with clients in accordance with established protocols. Accurately collect and record data related to client progress and behavior. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and families to ensure cohesive treatment delivery. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in psychology, special education, or related field preferred. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is highly desirable; candidates willing to pursue certification will be considered. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel to client locations within the service area. Ability to pass criminal background checks and comply with agency standards. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
