Job description

Assess, design, implement and evaluate instructional programs, and facilitate post-discharge placement for hospitalized children and youths in order to fulfill Children's annual school services contract with OSPI and Seattle School District.
Required Education and Experience Master’s degree in Education or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of one year teaching experience in public or independent school setting.
Required Credentials Current WA State Teaching Certificate.
Prior to the start of employment, individuals are required to submit a copy of a receipt directly to Human Resources (electronically) confirming they have completed the fingerprinting process as outlined by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
Preferred Experience working as school counselor.
Experience working in a mental health setting.
Experience working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
Special education endorsement with experience teaching in a special education setting.
Three years teaching experience.
Familiarity with special education practices and state and federal regulations for this population of students.
Compensation Range $107,431.00 - $161,147.00 per year Salary Information This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
