The Plaistow YMCA is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and caring Summer Camp Counselors to join our team for Summer 2026! 🌈 About Our Summer Camps Plaistow YMCA Summer Camp provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment where children build confidence, form lasting friendships, and create lifelong memories.
• Our programs include: 🏕 Half-Day Pre-K Camp (Ages 4–5) – A gentle introduction to camp with age-appropriate activities, play, and social development 🏕 Camp Kelly Brook (Ages 5-12) - Traditional Summer Camp 🏕 CIT Camp (Counselors-in-Training) – Designed to help older youth develop leadership skills and prepare for future counselor roles Campers enjoy sports, gymnastics, archery, games, and creative activities—and every day brings something new! 🎯

QualificationsIf you are looking to expand your resume and develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, this may be the summer job opportunity for you! Camp Counselors must be a minimum of 16 years of age Preferred work schedule is Monday-Friday (5 days) throughout the camp season, 8am-5pm Must have reliable transportation to ensure the ability to commute to and arrive at camp on time daily Mandatory Spring training will be required - save the date of May 16th, 2025 ***Please note that additional documents and training will be required upon employment.**
