Responsibilities

As an Infant Teacher, you will be given the tools, resources, and training to

· Assist in developing and implementing creative and developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration among preschool-aged children. · Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom atmosphere where preschoolers feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play. · Assist in integrating language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to help children develop communication skills, vocabulary, and a love of reading. · Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the classroom environment, including materials, equipment, and play areas, to support optimal learning and exploration. · Establish open and ongoing communication with parents, sharing insights, updates, and progress on their child's development

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma is required; a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education.
  • In-depth understanding of child development and behavior, as well as familiarity with childcare licensing regulations, is essential.
  • Must possess strong classroom management abilities, including excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Patience and flexibility are also key attributes for success in this role.

Certifications
