Job Coach A Great Opportunity/ $18.00~$19.50 / Full Time At ViaQuest Employment Services, we partner with local, regional and national businesses and school districts to develop and promote individuals with disabilities in the workplace. Responsibilities
- may include:
- Train and supervise clients who have developmental/ physical disabilities to acquire the skills needed to perform specific job tasks, work routines and personal life habits.
- Assist clients in performing their work responsibilities in a way that fosters independence, develop natural supports and helps to ensure retention.
- Provide daily job skills training with a focus on community employment and inclusion.
- Interact with all individuals in a way that respects the unique needs of all involved and provides meaningful outcomes.
Requirements
- for this position include:
- Experience within the field of special education, developmental disabilities or in a youth-centered field is preferred.
- Professional, responsible, mature, and flexible.
- Knowledge of food industry, retail, and hospitality services preferred.
- Professionally maintain daily documentation.
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
