• Key role responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate classroom instruction aligned with cca’s curriculum, mission and biblical worldview.
• Assess, document, and monitor student learning through effective evaluation practices, providing timely, constructive feedback and using data to inform instruction.
• Establish and sustain a positive, well ordered classroom environment by setting clear expectations, implementing consistent behavior management, and fostering a culture of respect and engagement through our honorable character program.
• Mentor and guide students in their academic growth and spiritual development through intentional instruction, modeling, and relational investment.
• Collaborate professionally with colleagues, administrators, and families through regular communication, participation in meetings and professional development, and the maintenance of accurate academic and instructional records.
• Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned in support of the broader mission and operations of the school, including obtaining classical, christian teacher certification through cca’s accrediting body.
• Serve additional duties as assigned. Morning and lunch duty as needed.

Qualifications

• A mature and growing personal faith in Jesus Christ consistent with CCA’s Statement of Faith and an active member of a Bible believing church
• Love for children and a sense of call to teaching
• Commitment to Christian education and Christ-centered student development
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Teacher Certification, Early Childhood preferred
• 3-5 years experience preferred
• Knowledge of pedagogical principles and instructional methodologies
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with consistency and professionalism
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
