- Arbor Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our Chandler clinic team! In this role, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy services that help clients build independence and reach important developmental milestones. - Evaluate and treat fine motor skills, sensory processing, feeding, and activities of daily living
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions to support optimal outcomes
- Engage parents and caregivers by providing education and strategies for home support
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech-language and physical therapists
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of services
- Provide mentorship and supervision to students or assistants when applicable
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active occupational therapist license through the Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy
- Valid Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (LVP) or ability to obtain clearance
- Experience or interest in early intervention and developmental disabilities
- Passion for professional growth and continuing education
- Positive and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience or interest in feeding intervention is strongly preferred
- Experience with AAC is a plus
- Bilingualism is a plus Working Conditions This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. The role may involve working closely with clients who have developmental, behavioral, or physical diagnoses and who may occasionally exhibit challenging behaviors.
