- Job Summary Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a motivated and faith-filled Physical Education (PE) Teacher to promote students’ physical development, health, and wellness.
- The ideal candidate will create a positive, active, and engaging environment that fosters teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits while supporting the mission of Catholic education.
- Job Responsibilities ● Plan and deliver physical education instruction for students in accordance with grade-level standards.● Develop lessons that promote physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, and sportsmanship.● Organize games, activities, and skill-building exercises appropriate for various age and ability levels.● Ensure a safe environment by supervising students and enforcing safety rules during all activities.● Integrate Catholic values such as respect, fairness, and cooperation into daily instruction.● Assess student participation, effort, and skill development.● Maintain and organize PE equipment and facilities.● Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school events and wellness initiatives.● Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.
- Job Requirements ● Bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field preferred.● Teaching certification preferred.● Experience teaching physical education or working with children in a structured setting.● Strong classroom management and organizational skills.● Ability to motivate and engage students in physical activity.● Knowledge of age-appropriate physical fitness practices and safety standards.● Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education.The Archdiocese of St.
