The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual development of young learners while integrating Catholic values into daily instruction.
Job Responsibilities ● Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with grade-level curriculum and standards across core subjects.● Foster a positive, welcoming, and faith-centered classroom environment.● Integrate Catholic teachings, prayer, and values throughout the school day.● Assess student progress through observations, assignments, and assessments, providing timely feedback.● Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles and readiness levels.● Establish clear classroom routines and maintain effective behavior management.● Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and classroom activities.● Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and school initiatives.● Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-related events.
Job Requirements ● Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.● Practicing Catholic or willingness to support the mission of Catholic education.● Experience working with early elementary students preferred.● Strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills.● Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, student-centered lessons.● Commitment to supporting the academic and spiritual growth of students.The Archdiocese of St.
