Physician Assistant Clinical Preceptors Needed You are the key to successful supervised clinical education. Franklin Pierce University Arizona Hybrid Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) Program
Franklin Pierce University’s Arizona Hybrid MPAS Program is seeking qualified clinical preceptors to help educate the next generation of Physician Assistants. Our students complete their didactic coursework remotely and are located across the United States.
Our students complete nine (9) rotations, each lasting five (5) weeks in length in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Emergency Medicine, Surgery, Behavioral Health, and Two (2) Electives. Rotations are primarily in-person (behavioral health may include telemedicine). Students may participate in telemedicine when appropriate.
- We welcome preceptors nationwide and are actively expanding clinical rotations across multiple specialties, with current highest-need areas including Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine.

- Physician Assistants/Associates (PA) Physicians (MD/DO) Nurse Practitioners (NP) Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) Licensed healthcare providers qualified in their area of instruction such as Psychologists and LCSWs Required Qualifications Current, active state licensure in the state where the rotation will be completed If a PA, current NCCPA certification.
- If a MD or DO, prior or current board certification in the area of practice.
- If a non-physician or non-PA, current board certification or licensure.
- Minimum one year of full-time clinical experience within specialty Commitment to diverse populations and professional standards
Preferred Qualifications: Academic or team-based experience Prior teaching or precepting experience
