Job description
- GENERAL DESCRIPTION Participates in the development and coordination of training programs for members, which enhance Quality of Life and increase independence.
- Provide direct supervision and training to members utilizing normalization principles.
- EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE High School diploma required with minimum two years of college in psychology, special education, or human services field preferred.
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- JOB TASK Maintains program standards of operation and development.
- Ensures members’ health, safety and welfare, including appropriate medication administration.
- Ensures compliance with SAP policies and procedures in regard to member and program funds.
- Maintains appropriate staff/member interactions.
- Ensures compliance with the annual Individual Habilitation Plan process for members.
- Ensures compliance with the Agency’s Periodic Service Review and other quality assurance programs.
- Ensures compliance with CAU Policies and Procedures, SAP Policies and Procedures, and licensing requirements.
- Provides appropriate direct supports to members.
- Cooperates with Agency, legal authorities and Department of Human Services or any part or successor thereof in any inspection or investigation.
- Maintains Carelogic expectations.
- Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
- All other duties as assigned.
- SHIFT 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with some variation
