Job description

  • Salary/Position classification
  • $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 20 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of position

This position will assist the College of Education & Human Development in advancing digital accessibility by reviewing and editing video captions and remediating digital content for programs and courses in the College of Education & Human Development

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Generate, review, and edit auto-generated captions and transcripts for pre-recorded educational videos
  • Review and correct other digital content, such as PDFs, as needed to ensure materials meet accessibility guidelines
  • Accurate Data Entry
  • Strong editing skills, including grammar and spelling (English language)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle materials in a careful and professional manner
  • Ability to work independently
  • Minimum requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Education & Human Development as a GTA at the University of North Dakota
  • Demonstrated research, writing, and organizational skills
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
