Job description

- $20.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

- 100% Remote Work Availability: No

Purpose of position
This position will assist the College of Education & Human Development in advancing digital accessibility by reviewing and editing video captions and remediating digital content for programs and courses in the College of Education & Human Development
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generate, review, and edit auto-generated captions and transcripts for pre-recorded educational videos
- Review and correct other digital content, such as PDFs, as needed to ensure materials meet accessibility guidelines
- Accurate Data Entry
- Strong editing skills, including grammar and spelling (English language)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle materials in a careful and professional manner
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program in the College of Education & Human Development as a GTA at the University of North Dakota
- Demonstrated research, writing, and organizational skills
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with caption or transcript editing
- Experience using Blackboard, Yuja or OneDrive
- Experience with accessibility requirements for digital content
