The instructor will teach one section of the United States Military History course (History 210) in person. They will contribute to the History program by instructing and mentoring undergraduate students.
The Department of History and American Studies at the University of North Dakota seeks a part-time instructor to teach one section of the US military History course in person on campus to begin January 1, 2027.
The successful candidate will contribute to the History program through teaching introductory United States history (History 210: United States Military History).
Demonstrated knowledge of United States military history.
Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, and students
Ability to work with and engage diverse students and colleagues within and outside the Department of History & American Indian Studies.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to teach, inspire, and mentor students.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. This position does not support visa sponsorship for continued employment.
