Provide individualized career advising and coaching to students and alumni to support their transition from college to career. Design and facilitate career readiness programming and manage the Career Mentor program in collaboration with campus partners.
Requires a bachelor's degree and experience in student support, advising, or coaching within a higher education setting. Proficiency with career development technology and knowledge of job search strategies are essential.
This position supports current students and alumni in developing their career goals and navigating the transition from college to career. The advisor engages students through both 1:1 appointments and career readiness programming, providing guidance in areas such as, application materials, interview preparation, career exploration, and job and internship search strategies. The role contributes to the development of innovative career programming in collaboration with the Senior Career Services Specialist, conducts employer and industry research to inform advising, and helps students identify hands on experiences and professional development opportunities that strengthen their career readiness.
