Job description

Carolina School Services (CSS) is hiring a Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our small, supportive clinic team. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys building strong relationships with children and families, providing practical therapy tools, and leading engaging social skills groups. Compensation / Structure Pay: Competitive, based on experience and scope of role Structure: 1099 Qualifications (Required) Active North Carolina license in one of the following (or equivalent): LCSW – Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCMHC / LCMHCA – Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Associate LMFT / LMFTA – Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Associate Experience providing therapy to children/adolescents and/or families (clinic, school, community mental health, etc.) Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Preferred Qualifications (Not Required, but a Plus) Experience with CBT, play-based interventions, and/or trauma-informed approaches Experience with autism/ADHD, emotional regulation, and school-based concerns Group facilitation experience (social skills, coping skills, anxiety groups) Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus
