Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques and be passionate about helping individuals improve their communication skills. This role has the potential to be clinic and/or school based work.
Duties
Conduct patient assessments to identify speech and language disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions, focusing on improving communication abilities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology. Experience A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology. Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
