Job description

Carolina School Services (CSS) is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our dynamic school-based team in Wake Forest, NC. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing hands-on, functional pediatric therapy in a collaborative setting, supporting an Occupational Therapist, and making a positive impact on children and families.

Responsibilities

Provide direct therapy services to students from pre-K through grade 12, focusing on areas such as fine/visual motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, ADLs, executive functioning, and school readiness. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans. Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations. Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff to support therapy goals. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive and positive team culture. Required Skills: Active North Carolina OTA license or registration. Experience in pediatric occupational therapy settings is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a flexible, collaborative environment. Organizational skills to manage multiple caseloads and schedules effectively.
